Silvija grew up and lives in Kaunas, Lithuania – where our purchasing office is also based, close to our production network. She holds a master’s degree from Kaunas University of Technology in both wood engineering and project management, which gives her a strong combination of technical understanding and structured project management.
This expertise makes her particularly well-suited to lead interior design projects where every detail counts – from materials and construction to sustainability. With her background, she plays an important role in ensuring that our bespoke furniture for hotels, restaurants and other hospitality environments not only meets, but exceeds our customers’ expectations – from initial idea to finished installation.
Silvija’s first months at Resize Design have been both exciting and educational. In February, she participated in our kick-off in Stockholm, where she met Swedish colleagues and visited hotels and restaurants where we have delivered tailor-made interior design. She has learned the company’s processes, got to know the team and taken responsibility for her own projects.
Outside of work, Silvija is passionate about healthy lifestyles, travel and culture. She loves meeting new people, cooking and creating desserts, as well as decorating and making environments beautiful – something that reflects her attention to detail in her work as well.
In her spare time, she likes to walk with her dog, Ella, enjoy the sea and visit inspiring places such as the Curonian Spit (Kuršių Nerija) in Lithuania, a narrow sandstone isthmus with beautiful beaches, pine forests and picturesque fishing villages. The area is also called the Sahara of the North and is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
