It is a natural development that meeting booths are some of the most demanded products right now. According to a report from Novus Opinion, as many as 57% of those who work in open-plan offices considered the sound environment to be disturbing. Both low-frequency noise and the voices of colleagues are considered disturbing and can create stress and lead to ill health. However, it is more common for employees to be more disturbed by noise from their employees than, for example, noise from a ventilation system.

A study was conducted over a two-year period by researcher and architect Christina Bodin Danielsson, with 1,800 office workers in Sweden in seven different types of offices. The results showed that the risk of sick leave was almost twice as high for those who worked in open-plan offices, compared to those who had their own offices.
Although own offices are better for peace and quiet at work, the disadvantage is that they do not promote collaboration or social cohesion. As more and more offices are being built as open-plan offices, there are good solutions with meeting booths to minimize the risks of stress and ill health.

In his study, Bodin Danielsson emphasizes that quiet environments are of great importance at work because noise in particular has a negative impact on performance.

In order for employees to be able to perform at their best, especially with tasks that require concentration, they should not be exposed to unnecessary noise. Therefore, there must be plenty of quiet rooms where employees can go to work undisturbed. Here it is important to plan enough meeting booths so that there is always some room available.

Keep in mind that sound insulation is the single most important feature when choosing a booth, but both light and ventilation are important aspects.

The sound attenuation in our meeting booths is up to 35dB, which is better than in many other pods, as well as automatic switching on and off as well as ventilation.
