Resize Design is growing in hospitality and is now looking for an experienced hands-on interior designer who wants to be involved in creating some of the market's best hotel rooms and commercial environments. In the role, you will be a key person in our team. You lead the design work in close collaboration with our project managers, the clients' own architects, external architectural partners and our production team in Lithuania. We are looking for someone who combines a sense of colour, shape, material and guest experience with the ability to make ideas work in reality — with the right budget, the right schedule and clear documentation for production and delivery.
Among other things, you will:
- coordinate design issues with the client’s architects and our external partners
- develop hotel concepts, floor plans, mood boards and FF&E proposals
- Adapt hotel rooms, restaurants and commercial environments based on customer needs
- translate design ideas into concrete data for quotation, production and delivery
- produce clear drawings, furnishing plans, choice of materials and specifications
- make site visits, measure, inventory and ensure that the solutions work on site
- contribute to the further development of Resize Design’s hospitality offering
We are looking for someone who:
- are a trained interior designer or have equivalent experience
- have experience in hotels, restaurants and other commercial environments
- Is confident in 2D/3D, drawings, presentations and product specifications
- has a strong understanding of dimensions, proportions, materials and function
- is practical, structured and used to making decisions close to real projects
- have a relevant network of contacts in hotels, architecture, interior design or hospitality
- communicate freely in Swedish and English
- have experience of working with IT systems can combine their work with AI tools
